Although somewhat shy, Rinoa is very straightforward and honest with those around her. Her tenderness, warm-hearted nature, and kind compassion makes her very endearing. She originates from a forest town called Timber, fighting for their independence against the control from Galbadia. Her initial contact with SeeD starts through Seifer, but her feelings become more directed towards Squall. She meets Squall when she goes to the See D party. They later meet again when her group requests help from the Balamb Garden to send See D's.

Eventually, She and Squall fall in love. Rinoa used to be an item with Seifer. I guess they were boyfriend-girlfriend. Anyway, she falls in love with Squall, although it takes Squall a little longer to realize he is in love with Rinoa.

Rinoa and her father don't get along much and they are rich. Rinoa's friends call her "the princess". Rinoa is a nice person, she keeps it straight. In the end, she gets her man.
